World Bank Contacts
UNI affiliates may wish to contact the World Bank to obtain information about its projects and policies in their countries. The following contact information is provided to assist such efforts: A Board of Governors made up of one representative from each member-country, usually the minister of finance or a similar official, sets overall policy for the World Bank, though voting is weighted by capital contributions to the Bank. The Board meets at least once a year. For a list of governors with addresses and other contact information, download wbb-gov.pdf or click: http://www.worldbank.org/html/extdr/about/voting/. The day to day operations of the Bank are managed by a 24-member Board of Executive Directors. Each Executive Director represents a country or group of countries in the decision-making of the Bank. For a list of Executive Directors with addresses and other contact information, download wbb-eds.pdf of click: http://www.worldbank.org/html/extdr/about/voting/. General contacts with the staff of the World Bank in its headquarters office in Washington or in its regional and country offices, may be made by clicking: http://www.worldbank.org/html/extdr/gen.htm.
