Jusco changes name, wants to enter top ten Japan's largest retailer Jusco becomes Aeon Co. By the end of 2003, Aeon will become a holding company, continuing to operate Jusco supermarkets, groceries and drugstores. Also other services will be produced, including through the company's credit card business. The sales targets for the restructured company are high - 7 trillion Yen (close to 10 billion USD). Of this, 3 trillion Yen would come from general merchandising, 2 trillion Yen from groceries and 1 trillion Yen from drugstores. With this, Aeon-Jusco would enter the top ten of global retailing.
