UNI Commerce and Vigeo
agreed to cooperate on corporate ratings
UNI Commerce has agreed with the Paris-based rating agency Vigeo to cooperate on assessing the social performance of leading commerce enterprises. The new Partnership Agreement provides for UNI Commerce to be consulted by the agency about the social dimension of the companies' approach to their employees, before Vigeo releases its analysis reports. This confirms a practice that has existed already during several years, with regular meetings being held between UNI Commerce and Vigeo analysts. Vigeo is Europe's leading rating agency in the fields of corporate social responsibility and sustainable development. It serves asset managers and other investors with information about their investment targets and performs social responsibility audits itself. The CEO of Vigeo is Nicole Notat, who was previously General Secretary of the large French trade union confederation CFDT. |
