- Labour news from UNI global union - for trade unions in a global services economy. -
After the high degree of political change in Nepal in 2006, the workers are highly sensitised and started forming their unions for their rights.
Workers from different service sectors under UNI jurisdictions are under organising move launched by UNI Apro's Union Development and Organising Center -UNIDOC in Nepal.
Recently the workers of one of the first private sector non life insurance company (NLG Insurance Company) formed their enterprise level union and registered it in to the Labour registrar. Mr. Rajan Pandey the President of Union of NLG Employees (UNINLG) assured all staffs for protecting their interest and thanked UNI for it's support.
NLG Insurance is the foreign and local joint venture non life insurance company with it's largest network and business in Nepal. |
