UNI's
10 Strategic Objectives
In its work the department is guided by UNI’s 10 Strategic Objectives, which
were agreed by the UNI Management Committee as a synthesis of the
resolutions and statements adopted by the 1st UNI World
Congress and the 1st World Women’s Conference held in Berlin
in September 2001.
To achieve these ten objectives during the period leading up to the 2nd
World Congress in 2005 requires the commitment of all affiliates, regional
organisations, sectors and interprofessional groups. Development
cooperation plays an important role to convert those decisions into
action and to assist regions and national affiliates in obtaining the
objectives.
The key objectives include UNI Online to link
up all affiliates to the Internet, the Global
Equality project and Recruitment and Organising
projects.
