Many members sign up
through website: Sweden's HTF continues to grow Swedish UNI Commerce affiliate HTF shows that union membership is still attractive. At the end of last year, the union had 155,408 members, which was 3,599 or 2.4 per cent more than the previous year. The Stockholm local registered the highest increase, 4.9 per cent. It is interesting that members sign up increasingly through the HTF website. Last year, 3,700 new members registered themselves this way. In January 2002, a record number of 580 new HTF members were recruited through the website.
