Amazon and
Toys"R"Us create two joint ventures
Leading Internet retailer Amazon and category killer Toys"R"Us join forces in two U.S. e-commerce ventures. One will sell toys and video games and the other one baby products. While Toys"R"Us will handle the products and inventory, Amazon will take care of logistics and storage. The joint venture is said to be a possible model for co-operation also between other "e-tailers" and traditional retailers. |
