Central America's largest
retailer: Ahold establishes new joint venture Dutch retail multinational Ahold is set
to be the market leader in Central America's supermarket trade. A new
joint venture with CSU in Costa Rica and La Frague in Guatemala will
comprise 253 stores and generate annual sales of some 1.3 billion USD.
In this region, Ahold is present also in El Salvador and Honduras.
