In Brazil, Carrefour and
SEPROSCOS sign collective agreement
Brazilian Uni Commerce affiliate, Sao Paulo based SEPROSCOS., has signed a collective agreement with the huge French retailer Carrefour. The market leader in Brazil, Carrefour, was plagued by labour relations problems over the years. Now, the diligent work of the Brazilian trade unionists and a new approach by the company's management has opened the way for a considerable improvement. Also in South Korea, where relations between Carrefour and the commercial workers' unions have been extremely strained, a resolution to the conflicts has now been found. |
