Carrefour works council discussed European integration

The European Works Council of Carrefour spent two days earlier this week discussing European integration issues. This was a training session for the council members, who represent workers in six European countries.

Carrefour is Europe's largest retailer, with a strong presence also in other parts of the world. Uni Commerce has a well developed social dialogue with the company. Earlier this year, an agreement was signed which confirms the right of all Carrefour workers world-wide to join a trade union.
