union makes progress in organising OSPO, the Uni-affiliated commerce union in the Czech Republic, continues to make progress in organising in multinationals. New local structures have been established and collective bargaining is on its way with several employers. In Obi, which is part of the Tengelmann group, a collective agreement has been concluded. Negotiations about an agreement are on their way at Billa, which is part of the Rewe group. Also in Carrefour, collective bargaining is expected to start in the near future. In Delvita, owned by Belgian Delhaize, negotiations are in their final stages as well as in Spar. Last week, OSPO held an organisers' course as part of a joint project with Uni Commerce. Sten Lykkebo of HK Handel in Denmark participated as a resource person.
