Owned Wal-Mart shares:
Hometown judge was partial when he tried to to stop UFCW from organising

In September 1999, a Benton County judge in Arkansas tried to stop UFCW from entering Wal-Mart stores, distributing union information and organising workers. When the Uni Commerce affiliated trade union found out that he owned 700,000 U.S. Dollar worth of Wal-Mart stock, they successfully demanded that he be withdrawn from the case.

Now, the judicial discipline panel of the State of Arkansas has confirmed that he was partial when issuing the restraining order. The judge, Donald Huffman, should not have accepted the case, according to State rules.
