Electronic commerce pages
The use of information and communications
technology is fast changing the reality for retail and wholesale
enterprises and their workers. Be it electronic commerce, the use of
multimedia or intranets in companies, the applications will all have a
bearing on employment, work organisation and job design.
Uni Commerce and its
affiliated commercial workers' unions all around the world demand that
there must be a social dimension in these developments, in the same way
that a social dimension must be an essential part on building a global
economy.
Uni Commerce participates actively in the international
process, which is now creating the framework for electronic commerce and
internet trade. On this site, pages and documents will be published,
which try to describe what is happening and what commercial workers'
trade unions have to say about it.
